UAMS research is key to scientific/medical innovation in Arkansas. The campus fosters the commercialization of research through its technology transfer office and incubator, UAMS Bioventures.


The College of Engineering and Information Technology is recognized for its capabilities in nanotechnology and information quality and features the state-of-the-art Emerging Analytics Center.

City leadership including the City Director endorse the development and support the effort through sponsorship and a cohesive working relationship. The Park will be in the heart of the City-driven Creative Corridor.

Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), while not an official sponsor of the project, has contributed financially in support of the Little Rock Technology Park early efforts. Under the leadership of Marcy Doderer, ACH maintains one of the state’s largest research facilities in the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Research Institute.

Companies created out of commercialized research at ACH will be natural future tenants of the Little Rock Technology Park.

The Venture Center

The Venture Center helps startups obtain customer validation and reach viability through systematic programming, premium mentorship that leverages best practices in lean methodology, and strategic acceleration with an eye on reaching scale and creating measurable economic impact.

The Venture Center currently provides programming and other events for the startup community in the LR Tech Park @ 107 coworking space.

Little Rock Chamber of Commerce

The Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce is the principal business-driven leadership organization responsible for fostering the economic growth and development of the Little Rock Region.

Chamber staff assists the Little Rock Technology Park with various “back office” efforts including accounting and provides periodic meeting facilities.

Central Arkansas Technology Ecosystem

Central Arkansas’ technology industry boasts diversity in both areas of expertise but also showcases mature companies, educational resources and research institutions.
